Fátima Sancheznieto is an associate researcher at the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) at the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH). She is also an Associate Director at the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER). As a researcher and evaluator, Fátima studies mentored research training to develop effective, efficient, and empowering programming for graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty. She has served as President of Future of Research, an advocacy organization for early career researchers, and on the Mentorship, Wellbeing, and Career Development roundtable at the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Mathematics.
