pd|hub to host 2024 Implementation Site trainings adjacent to GCC Annual Conference

Date Posted: martes, marzo 05, 2024

We are thrilled to share that pd|hub will be hosting the in-person component of our 2024 training program on June 23-25 in Philadelphia, adjacent to the Graduate Career Consortium (GCC) Annual Conference. With the theme of this Collection focused on the foundations of career exploration—a professional development competency that is core to the role of many GCC members—we saw this as an excellent opportunity to facilitate connecting Implementation Sites to the GCC community.

About the GCC
The Graduate Career Consortium is an international organization of higher education professionals who lead and provide professional and career development for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars at their institutions and organizations. The GCC is volunteer-run, with a strong culture of resource-sharing and member engagement. GCC is also a member of the pd|hub Coalition of Higher Education Organizations.

About the pd|hub Collections trainings
This pd|hub Collections in-person training is part of the 1-year experience of our 2024-2025 cohort of Implementation Sites for the pd|hub Collection: Foundations of Career Exploration for PhDs, and is designed to build on virtual trainings that will be taking place in April through June. Topics will include social sciences theories that underlie the approaches featured in the pd|hub Collection's models, identity-conscious facilitation practices, and using logic models to understand intentionality behind model design and to drive outcomes evaluation.
