Melissa McDaniels
CIMER Modules Development Lead
Melissa McDaniels (she/her) is a Scientist with the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the University of Wisconsin (UW)-Madison. She is also associate executive director of the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research at UW-Madison. She has been a co-investigator on numerous scientific workforce development projects including the NIH-supported National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) and the NSF-supported Inclusive Graduate Education Network (IGEN) INCLUDES project. She has over 25 years of experience supporting equity-centered organizational change, graduate student and faculty development, and mentorship ecosystem enhancement. Her role in this project is as CIMER Module Lead. She will support and align work across the CIMER Module Development Teams, facilitate integration of the modules into CIMER systems, and serve as a mentorship content expert as needed for the module and resource development teams.
