pd|hub presents at ABRCMS 2025

Join us at ABRCMS 2025, taking place November 19-22 in San Antonio, Texas where we will be presenting two sessions! 

Our first session, “Planning for Your Career in Uncertain Times,” is a practical and interactive workshop designed for trainees. We will present a framework to navigate career-related challenges and explore strategies that can be applied in today’s evolving landscape. Using self-assessment tools, brainstorming activities and group discussion, participants will create personalized plans to prioritize skill development, career advancement, and self-care alongside their research and academic goals.  

Additionally, we will also host a listening session, “Advancing Career-Related Mentorship: A Community-Driven Opportunity.” This interactive discussion for mentors and mentees will introduce the new NIH-funded Mentorship Action Collaborative—a partnership of Professional Development Hub (pd|hub) and the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER). Together, we will explore the important role of mentorship in supporting mentee career development and invite community input to identify key current critical challenges and opportunities to strengthen career-related mentorship.
